What the Dog Trainer Incubator Is
If you’re curious about becoming a dog trainer, you’ve probably noticed something frustrating. There’s a lot of information out there, but very few opportunities to gain real, hands-on experience with actual dogs, real guardians, and thoughtful guidance along the way.
That’s exactly why the Curious Snoots Dog Trainer Incubator exists.
This is a paid role where you begin by providing dog walking services for Curious Snoots clients. A way to learn by doing, with guidance, feedback, and mentorship available along the way.

How the Role Works
You begin as a paid dog walker doing our Interactive Walks:
You earn income while gaining real-world experience
You’re exposed to Curious Snoots’ curiosity-led, enrichment-focused approach
You may participate in agreed-upon shadowing, feedback, and mentorship opportunities
Growth opportunities expand as your skills, confidence, and readiness develop
CPDT-KA Certification Support
To support you, Curious Snoots can provide:
Mentorship and real-world learning through the work
Guidance on training concepts we use day-to-day
Support tracking eligible hands-on hours (when applicable)
Study guidance and resources for those pursuing certification
Laura is CPDT-KA certified and can sign attestation letters for eligible hands-on experience and support CPDT-KA candidates with study guidance and preparation strategies.
Important clarification: You’re fully responsible for your own education, including any external courses or certification programs, exam registration, fees, and your completion timeline. Curious Snoots does not provide exam questions or any confidential exam content.
